@RX14 and I have been playing some Worms Armageddon recently, and we'd like some more people to join us :3 For those who don't know what Worms is, it's a turn-based (strategy?) game that involves killing the other teams' worms with various weapons. You can get it from steam, though multiplayer works fine from other sources, as long as you get version 3.7.2.1. It seems to run ok in Wine as well. I got it to work on linux so if you need help just PM me.

I'm all good to go now and I don't have anything planned for the next few days so I'm fine whenever. I run on Mountain Standard Time if that's any help in trying to coordinate.

Alright, so I'll just say for now that this'll happen at 1700UTC on Saturday, and unless anyone's specifically against it, we'll use @RX14's Mumble server if anyone wants to voice chat. Would this be ok?

Haah, that's fine mate! Most of us prefer to type anyways. And the games themselves start around 2:00 PM Eastern now that Daylight Savings is over, so you're all gucci. :3

I have it now; I don't need Steam for it, possibly from a copy transferred over to my computer from my parents with approval after many years of not playing. I used to play it with my family back when I have XP at the time when it came out, but then stopped once I realized I had school. Until I saw this thread you brought up in June a few months after I joined, I had long thoughts about making a comeback to replaying this once more.

Then it finally hit me today, I decided it is time for me to kick butt again. <3

I will let the OP know 1-2 hours ahead of startup time to see if I am able to dispatch my worms or not. I even named my worms after my ships, and will rotate them each week.

For this week on my first sortie, you will face my favorite three destroyer worms: Fubuki, Shimakaze, and Akizuki.

Advantages:
+Evasion
+Line of Sight
+Movement Speed
+Luck
+Can do bungee and attack whilst hanging to sink enemy worms below them
+Can ninja rope, jetpack, back-flipping and jump, since they are lightweight
+Low resource consumption
Disadvantages:
-Firepower
-Short to medium range
-Can be easily defeated when careless

EDIT: Beware of facing Tenryuu if less than six players are present.

We normally have 4 worms per team. Though I suppose if everyone shows up it would probably be fine to reduce it to 3.

Do you know how to get to online MP?

In the main menu, there should be a network/online play button (bottom left iirc), set your username, in the configuration, enable upnp and disable force ip (unless you need it). Go back and the top right button should take you to wormnet. We're in the #AnythingGoes channel
