Malmon and I have different start times and play styles. For Malmon, he likes long games and starts around 1-2PM EST, but I might wind up very hungry or otherwise have to abort the meet at the last minute. (More time spent chatting; planning moves ahead, instant mines and loads of crates, as well as an endgame nuke with an insane sea level rise) For me on the other hand I like to keep things balanced but with more oomph to serious firepower and no matter how high your health everyone is by endgame will just plummet to 1 HP and I tend to start much earlier and in time for my lunch. (Short turns and round time as the only downside to minimize darksiding, but everyone gets a chance)
Weather is a concern too, so if inclement conditions are abound for us; we have to hold it off until later.
