Man, my brother has become such a whiny brat as of late. It's bad enough how he constantly wakes up my mom for "sleeping too loud" (Karma's a bitch, ain't it?), but two days ago he made me and her empty my entire bookshelf in search of a video game we've never owned. And after I picked him up from school yesterday, I decided I'd make a quick detour to the pharmacy, right? We were there for less than ten minutes, halfway through the line, when he starts screaming in my ear to go home. As a result, I had to spend last night with only half my usual painkillers. Owwww... >﹏<
I realize he's low-functioning, but there comes a point when concessions should be withdrawn. Swear, I'm never havin' kids. =_=
Aww what a shame, because I think you'd be a wonderful mother :')
Oh my stars... Are you serious, love? You can't imagine how much that means to me, thank you so much...

I'll admit, it's something that's been crossing my mind more often lately. I've made a habit out of offering counsel to my younger friends with bad parents, and sometimes I'll lament how they couldn't be mine. Then I'll find artwork or talk to my friend who's happily married, and all sounds nearly perfect.
And yet, it's hard for me to imagine things will turn out well. Especially when everyone in my family, couples and kids, are either incredibly miserable, depressed, or divorced. I know it's best not to take examples from people who don't believe in therapy and bark at me when I try to help, but it's hard when they're the only folks I'm close to IRL. >_<
Still... a gal's gotta dream, right? c:

UPS must've have a bad annual habit of sending in their inexperienced first-year drivers trying to deliver our holiday stuff on time, relying exclusively on their GPS tracking since we're near a mountain. Perhaps alternative methods of delivery might be the only solution. Amazon's and other companies have no problem with it whatsoever.
Ehh... I'd rather a company treat its workers like human beings than have a fast package. Most of the time, at least. ^_^'
