Is there a way mentions can work for every member?

Many like TN has say they get no notifications by mentions.

tbh this site's software is hanging on by the skin of its teeth and sometimes shit doesn't work consistently.

while i could look into it, i'd rather focus what little attention i have on getting our new software done ~~sry i haven't done much lately rx~~
