I heard about this place on lainchan. The ad's been around forever, but it's only now that I decided to sign up.

This is my first time posting on a forum in about a decade, so please bear with me.

Currently attempting to learn Japanese (again), I hope I can keep to it this time.

    hello and welcome. i also want to learn japanese but the biggest problem for me is finding someone to talk to. what do you find difficult.

        In case you haven't checked it out already, best place to start is Tae Kim's Guide to Japanese Grammar (not to be confused with Tae Kim's Complete Guide to Japanese, which isn't nearly as detailed.) It'll give you an insider's perspective on the language and all its intricate mechanisms, and I was making great headway with it last semester before school intervened.
