They weren't top notch aside from this being their first grand final. There's so much than meets the eye here.
And if i can confirm my theory, it not only makes me sad but angry as fuck. My prayers for all these families.
yeah, they only participated two times in this cup, reaching the final in their second participation, very successful rate i'd say. I don't really care about the outcome of the championship anymore.. i just wanna know what happened.
Colombian Football Organization alongside all these colombian druglords are the ones to blame. Think of this, Medellín wins the Sudamericana. Consisting that Colombia has good figures like Falcao or Rodriguez, not counting that they've been to a few world cups in a row, they could potentially make Colombian league a world class one like the Brazilian or the European ones. Homwever, it might not be as quite as much since Chile won Copa America twice in a row and i don't see a huge ESPN show dedicated to chilean soccer aside a few old farts circlejerking about stuff on Fox Sports.
Chilean soccer has been always behind Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, their tradition makes them favorites in every tournament and Chile just got 2 years of an amazing story, the soccer business is run by Argentinian/Brazilian managers, Coaches, press.. you name it, even Chile's Manager is Argentinian, in both of their cups won.
Particulary i like the way Chile plays but it's not the style i'm fond of. I love pressing and physical strategies, that makes the whole team play.
Talking about druglords i don't really think so. It's been a mistake from LAMIA, they used a very old plane with just the RIGHT amount to make it there, not taking in account if they enter in a queue to land. Maybe it was the cheapest service available..
