I couldn't be assed searching through all of the threads that already exist, so I thought I'd make this thread and sticky it. I recently finished Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (Is this a Zombie?) ; and I enjoyed it. All of the characters are cute af and there's a fairly nice plot.

Started watching Nanatsu no Taizai 2nd season, and old Berserk series.

Havent watched anything new lately. But I recently watched something old. I watched Azumanga Daioh and I really really liked that, sakaki a cute.

Not really watching any past anime lately, watching the new Berserk and Mob Psycho 100. Last anime I watched was Yukikaze. It had some pretty cool air combat scenes, but not much else going for it.

I've been watching Hokuto No Ken(Fist of the north star), the show is one of the best action anime I've seen in a while. Also watching Eromanga Sensei and Imouto Sae Ireba Ii, though probably will focus on Hokuto and Eromanga.

Queen's Blade! Talk about a blast from the past, eh? Y'know there was time when I would've wrote it off as utterly unwatchable, but after developing my talent as a writer, I've found myself able to pick out the discrete flaws in the writing, voice-acting, and animation.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a pretty bad show, but it's bad in ways that make you laugh. Kinda like the films they'd show on Mystery Science Theatre 3000. ^^

I never saw the movie, only read the manga. But part of his character development is growing to understand the disability and growing to be less of an asshole.

I think a lot of children do some pretty terrible things, which they regret later. This film is pretty realistic in that regard - although far more dramatic than real life (as most films are).

Children are cruel. Children do fucked up shit often. I'm never going to have children.

On a serious note, you're one hundred percent right. If the main character grows as a character and realizes his actions are wrong and learns from that, then it's pretty realistic. Hell you can even argue it could send people the message that hey, just cause you were an asshole before doesn't mean you need to keep being an asshole to people. It's on my watch list, but I hope I can stomach through the cunt-bit to enjoy the end-bit.

He's really only an asshole for like the first 20-30 minutes and it never really approached the point of being unwatchable, in my opinion. It just wasn't holding our interest very well and we decided to turn it off when we found there was still a whole hour left to go. I might try and finish it sometime later since we were all kind of in a riffing mood at the time.

Watched No Game No Life Zero.
NGNL was one of my favorite animes. NGNLZ has one of the best visuals I've seen, action scenes and story are great, but it had some drama, which is not one of my favorite genres, so my enjoyment was not as high as I expected. I hope NGNL2 has a similar atmosphere to NGNL when(if) it releases.

I'm watching Seiken Tsukai No World Break, and it's surprisingly good, its MAL rating is only 7.15 but I think it should be way higher. Having previously watched Seirei Tsukai No World Dance, I thought both were the same, but they are different.
I have seen the majority of harem anime available, so it was very nice to find out I haven't seen this one.

I realize I'm, like, half a decade late to the party, but I went out on a limb and swashbuckled the Equestria Girls movie for funsies. It was pretty simplistic, what with being a kid's show and all, but it turned out to have a lotta charm, and it made me smile more than a couple times. I can see now what all the hype was about back in the day.

I'd reckon I need somethin' colorful and lighthearted. I did sample a couple episodes of Mega Masochist! (MM!) yesterday, so maybe I'll continue with that.

I was really angry with how impossibly rushed and poorly-paced the first half or so of Occultic;Nine was, but with episodes 7 and 8 it's starting to find its place. However, I still think it would have been better as a VN where we could really explore it in depth. Of course, I respect the need to make an anime in order to give Ryoka's huge tits the jiggles they deserve.

It's too bad because the pacing really is its only problem, but it is a major one. It has a great story, beautiful animation, and all the girls are waifu-tier. What more could you want?
