To be honest with you, I don't think the man is racist. A little bit sexist? Sure. Xenophobic? Hell no. See, a fault I find in the United States is that we let everyone in, yes that's how we're still a country to this point. You have people who come here seeking refuge refusing citizenship, refusing to learn English, refusing to get a job an yet while refusing all of this, they still refuse to leave when we ask them.
In my opinion, I agree with Donald Trump, we're so diverse that it is actually starting to destroy our country. I don't have a problem with other countries, I just don't think we should be so open. But see, the people of this country is to blame as well. Because instead of focusing on the important stuff of what each candidate can actually give, we focus on how bad their personality is. Donald Trump, I believe, can actually pull us from this fucking sinkhole that we're in financially, because we're always going over our budget and because of that, other countries are starting to hate us even more because they believe that we think we can do that because we're the United States of America. And to be honest, that's it. We're the USA, we can do what the fuck we want when we want and no one can have a say in it, because we're America.
But to be honest with you I'd rather have a truthful dipshit (Donald Trump) than a lying bitch who does stupid shit to gain voters (Hillary Clinton). What we need isn't a fucking suck up, we need someone who stands their ground and proves to you what they can actually do, not just empty promises. But you know what, I'm too fucking done with this election, either way the VP's are going to be the President in the end.
i know that when you travel to the US you should learn at least English but what about US citizens going to other countries.. you guys never care to learn other languages. I know english is "global" but this reject comes from this way of thinking of yours.
Stop thinking that you just need yourselves to exist. USA markets comprehend lots of countries and if those countries disappear, your economy will fall.
Literally no one thinks that. Anyone who does hasn't taken even a highschool class in economics and ought to be barred from even debating politics. Sadly, we don't live in a perfect world.
And, frankly, I'm just a little bit irked by the insinuation that us Merifats don't bother learning other languages. Most importantly, we never get the chance to practice: Non-English online spaces are comparatively rare, and unlike people in Britain, we can't just take a merry stroll across the channel to experience a completely different culture. Aside from near the Mexican border and a few special cases (French near Quebec and in New Orleans, some remote pockets of indigenous languages) most Americans have very little incentive to learn another tongue.
This even applies to people who are already fluent a second language, just as I did when I was a kid. After I started attending preschool, I got less and less exposure to said tongue, which eventually allowed me to completely forget it. This also nearly happened to my Japanese and Russian friends, so it's certainly not an isolated case.
I will agree, though: Our school systems could stand to offer a larger emphasis on foreign language. As for my part, I'm currently learning Japanese and study it every day; and hope to relearn French sometime down the line too.
