Notice how I said "generic". Meaning this is a generalization. Meaning it does not apply to every one, but a large group if not majority. So don't accuse me of boxing an entire fandom in. That's incorrect.
Don't pretend being a NEET is anyone's fault aside from the person's. It's their decision to get out of bed. No one else's. Thinking otherwise is ignorant as fuck. If you can't persevere through emotions at an age where you have obligations, you're pathetic.
Also, according to you, being a NEET isn't a choice - it's a consequence of varying aspects. So what are you even attempting to get at when you ask "do you have respect for someone else's decision in life?"
What decision? The one you said didn't exist?
You're part of the problem.
A generalization is always WRONG, you just try to validate your opinion based on a small portion of people you "know" (i'm sure you don't know shit about that person's problems) and yes, let's stay it's their fault to be a NEET, and so what? if that shit makes that person happy what the fuck is wrong with it? Let them be the way they want. You're acting like a dictator who pretends to say how they should live, i'm not a NEET myself and never thought it was a good thing either but i think they need to find motivation in something to stop being a hikkikomori and saying "pathetic" won't help. You're just trashtalking them
You're one of the reasons neets don't want to speak with other people.
totally glides over the self-contradiction and provides another point of argue.
You're hilarious. Fine, I'll bite.
A generalization being "always wrong" is entirely subjective. So fuck off with that. Here's the literal definition; I'm sure it'll help you.
gen·er·al·i·za·tion
ˌjen(ə)rələˈzāSH(ə)n/
noun
a general statement or concept obtained by inference from specific cases.
Also, don't try and tell me anyone is truly happy being a fucking NEET. They constantly complain on any outlet they can find but they're too lazy or busy wallowing in self-pity to do anything about it. As to why that self-pity is tolerated is beyond me.
Furthermore, I'd like to touch on your delusional views (or lack thereof) on what exactly is objective/subjective. Something that is biased, influenced by opinion, etc, is subjective. Meaning it's not factual. Something that is un-influenced by opinion, not formed by bias, and presents truth and fact in its purest form, is objective. Something that cannot be argued. Meaning when you say something along the lines of "all generalizations are wrong" - you sound like an idiot. BONUS LESSON: Me calling you an idiot is a reflection of my subjective opinion about you, although to most it'd appear to be objective for a vast amount of reasons.
tl;dr If you're the one responsible for your life being shit(being a fucking neet) don't complain about it being shit.
