Air (2005) Review

Kunisaki Yukito is a young man who is chasing a dream. He has no family or friends, only a puppet and a dream of one day finding a girl in the sky with wings. Just as his mother lived her life before she died, Yukito wanders from city to city using his mysterious talent performing puppet shows on the street to try and earn money for food and shelter. Things aren't looking well for him either when he reaches a town where no one seems to be impressed with his mysterious stringless puppet. And even stranger, he has yet to see any money around. The best he has received is rice coupons and snacks. Things start to look up though when one day a young school girl named Kamio Misuzu befriends him offering him food and companionship.

This is one of the saddest anime i've ever watched. Key brings tears to my eyes with almost all of their series. </3

Clannad season 2 is sad as fuck but comparing sadness levels... Air < KANON. Oh my god.

Charlotte is a good anime with good characters and KEY always flirts with deep shit like music and really boost my fanboyism..
I didn't like rushed ending, i expected a lot more from Maeda.. honestly.

the way he gets all depressed and crazy when ayu dies just hits me right in the feels though

Charlotte deserved at least 24 episodes like little busters. And knowing Maeda, a lovable character always

yeah with 24 episodes they could have developed the whole one eye reaper thing instead of squeezing it into one episode

I still feel Charlotte would have done better sometimes if it wasn't too obvious and rushed, i don't think character development is TOO important in this kind of series because you tend to deduct their behavior based on what its shown but i feel the antagonist thing was shady and a little bit plotholed.

I liked a lot nonetheless

yeah i get you, honestly though even with the problems i had with the show it is still in my top 5 anime :hype:
