This bold account follows the brave exploits of Sergeant "Packy" Perkins and his unit... of rabbits! Join Packy and Private "Bota" Botasky as they resolve an Iranian hostage crisis. Watch these commando-style bunnies through an anthropomorphic lens as events unfold and violence erupts.
Note: This anime has been provisionally set to "Finished Airing" due to lack of official information regarding future installments.
Ever watch an anime that made you go "what the fuck did I just watch?" Well, here's one that will. Cat Shit One is a military, action-packed, single episode anime that will fulfill your desire for weird and interesting.
There is only one episode so there's not much to go off of and I can't really talk about the development of characters since all we see of them is "as is." However, we do see a great relationship between the characters and it only reminds me of the scenes from Black Hawk Down where a small sniper team goes in to save others from the pits of militia-infested grounds, filled with their own problems topped off with the mission they were assigned.
This anime is full CG and there are no cute girls. Our main characters are rabbits in the squadron- both of which are male- and the enemies are all camels (I think), also all of which are male (presumably). Still, this is only a one-episode thing and it really is a great action clip that's well choreographed. Some parts may be pretty cheesy- and by that I mean most if not all slow-motion moments- but despite it all they did a great job establishing characters and the like. And since there was only one episode, it was almost impossible for them to screw up.
I'll skip my 'grading' thing and just say I rated it a 9/10, where my only complaint is the title for misleading me to thinking there'd be cats involved and that there were some cheesy moments. Cat Shit One is their squad name. Nothing to do with cats. However, it is the most interesting and unique thing I've watched of all things 'anime' that I've seen.
TL;DR Should You Watch (if it wasn't short enough already)
Do you not care if the anime is CG?
Are you okay with a one-episode anime (or short)?
Like bizarre ideas mixed with some intense plot?
If you said yes to all three, watch it. After all, it'll only be 20 minutes of your time.
