What code editors do you use/like, and why? Web Code: Atom < http://atom.io >. It's a free/open source code editor by GitHub, and it's really good for web editing imo. Non-Web: I don't do much non-web coding, so yeah. 😛

Sublime: Recommended to me by Yagmi (@smug) Notepad++: Used this for who knows how long

I like http://codepen.io for web coding because I can see the changes happen in real time and the css and html documents are on the same page without changing tabs, plus it looks nice and you can also share it easily and others can edit it.

You can get dreamweaver for a month for free. Or use other methods. It works the same as codepen basically.

PHP Storm, for you know PHP Notepad++ for everything else

Is PHPStorm available for Linux (I assume it is, being PHP)? If so, I may try it.

Notepad++ is amazing for JS imo.

For interpreted languages I tend to use Notepad++ (or Sublime) Otherwise, I use Visual Studio or Eclipse because I'm a loser who needs an IDE

Visual Studio Code, and nano on the comamnd line because i'm not enough of a power user to bother learning vim.
