who has succeeded in pulling off an awesome cosplay?

I have never tried to cosplay but I would be open in trying it. I have a classmate back when I was in high school and he is really into cosplaying. Sometimes he can pull it off other times he didnt quite get it. His girlfriend also does cosplay. It looks like a lot of fun and I want to try it. Who here has done cosplay would you mind posting you cosplay here? Or some others that really pulled it off.

I had a friend of mine go to an anime expo in Milwaukee as Corkus from Berserk.
I don't have any pics, but he pulled it the fuck off.

I ain't too proud to say I pull off the Miss Kobayashi aesthetic every day, even whilst I'm working at home. Sure I could throw on a T-shirt and all that stuff, but that requires effort to color-coordinate, and I barely even leave my house regardless. Anyone else with me?
