Im so excited to be here.I'm only just starting my anime journey (watching One Piece) but I have been watching sword art online as well and based on that series I think I'm hooked. Please recommend new series/movies/ sites to me. I love watching new stuff!
Also, can you advise me on whether I should try Full Metal Alchemist? I heard its okay

I love you for starting One Piece, keep watching it and you will be hooked (if you're not already).
FMA is definitely another good one to watch. I would also try out Code Geass, Hellsing Ultimate, and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, to name a few.

Welcome to the forums! Definitely try out Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. (It's the re-boot of the original Fullmetal Alchemist and is superior to it in just about everyway.) No reason to Watch the Original when Brotherhood exists.

I'll second watching Brotherhood instead of the original. I tried watching the original, and it was just impossible. Don't even bother. I have a list of anime I'd recommend on my chatango profile.
