This anime was cringe as shit, could not watch. They try to make these ugly ass little lolis all scary and intimidating, when really you could just beat them with a baseball bat or snap their arms like a twig.

Thats only first seasons later in seasons 2-3 it gets little bit cuter. Lolis become lolis and stuff 😛

The anime was good, but it got progressively worse as the series went on. Mainly because they tried to milk it too much.

I loved the anime! I've never seen anything like it. I think they weren't trying too hard. The madness gas or whatever got to their heads by the end of the arc and that's what turn things upside down. The characters' expressions were a little redundant, but maybe that was intended to be used as a trademark for the show. It's been years since I've watched it so, I forgot the names of everyone expect Rika and Shion. For some reason, they had a HUGE impact on me. Which is understandable since Rika is the heroine and Shion's arc with her sister was confusing. That fingernail scene...painful. I cringed so bad. I didn't see the second season, is that the worse part of it Nocturne?

The fact is, they created a season of the series after the issue had been resolved. The second season (90% certain it was the second one) added in the element of dimensional travel, which became a bit too much considering the fact that it all just started out as a curse. (Then a gas, then dimensional travels and so on.) The last part of the series was basically; "Oh it has ended? Better restart it to get more cash."
