I will just throw this out there. Dragonballz. I believe this is the father founder that most anime writers get inspiration from. I grew up watching this with my brother.

Hajime no Ippo is a big one imo. This manga is amazing and I think is used as inspiration for many other anime. And Dragon Ball as well
