I'd like to get started on some new animes. Besides the top anime recommended anime such as Death Note, One Piece, Naruto or bleach. What others must be watched for anime lovers? I'd love all suggestions and excited to find some good ones to keep me occupied. 🙂

Ok my favorite anime of all time only happens to be six episodes... it's called FLCL. It's a lot like the mecha anime Gurren Lagann which is also a must watch anime. If you haven't seen Code Geass put that on the top of your list, it's a phenomenal (mecha) anime. If you'e looking for something a little more tragic, try Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. If you're looking for a light hearted anime try Eden of the East, the movies that follow the series are a must. Watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood if you haven't, a lot of people will consider it the best anime of all time and there is good reasoning behind that. U said not to recommend One Piece but I'll go ahead and recommend One Piece oh and Gintama, GTO, Cross Game, Major, and sum other shit.

Naruto Another Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Hellsing Ultimate Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Those tend to be the first ones I recommend to beginners, as they are nice mix of all. Series like Naruto are so varied in characters and ideals that 90% of people find at least one or two things they really like with it so its a generally good fit for most.

I don't know what did you watch already. This is what I would recommend to someone very new to anime: Inuyasha Hunter x Hunter Ouran High School Host club Soul Eater Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Eyeshield 21 Ghost Hunt - This might be odd to be on a recommend list, but it's newbie friendly. This is suppose to be a work safe list. As for one must watch series, I really liked Elfen Lied. But that's not for people who don't like bloody scenes and all :noship: .

It was like the perfect Saturday morning mystery cartoon, however it was still interesting. There's even like a green ghost that pops up in the OP that actually spooked me and I was like 16. Great show.

@[deleted] I agree I didn't expect "Ghost hunt" to be particularly good at first. It may be extra good for someone new. And it's Saturday - that calls for an excuse to watch these recommendations! @joshkhtan finally someone suggest Law of Ueki! I forgot to add "Gosick " which is also worth watching.

Gakkougurashi - It's surprisingly really great if you can get passed the whole loli thing (which was tough for me to do). Spice and Wolf - Definitely not your average recommended anime. Least, not ones to me, and I am so grateful to the person who did (if only I could remember who). Your Lie in April - I mean how could I not lol. Might be ranked #14 and likely recommended off the wazam, but it is my favorite anime out there, and made me cry harder than Clannad with 20 something less episodes.

I was told it was a series that I must watch and I relayed that message

I wouldn't say you need to go out the to watch it, but it's a good series none the less.

You guys are awesome thanks for the suggestions I will get on it. I am currently focused on reading a manga suggested by others at the moment I have a lot to catch up on. I miss watching anime like I did before. 🙂 I will keep these for my next watch list and manga list. Super excited too to get caught on new manga's and animes though.

tfw I honestly didn't like it. I've heard great things about it, and fan service shit don't bother me (nigga I watched Highschool of the dead ight? :steve: ), just didn't really care for the characters n shit.
