Attack on Titans

So I also liked this anime. It's a bit different and keeps you asking why. Why did that happen etc. I am still wondering why the titans kept attacking them. No I did not watch the movie but the first season of attack on titans.

The manga is pretty awful later on, I'll admit the first season of Attack on Titan was pretty good. But personally I don't understand all the hype. There are plenty of better anime out there.
You're better off not knowing anything, trust me. Stick to the first season.

Guts. What i still keep on pondering is why the giants kept attacking and killing them if they didnt need to?

Attack on Titans was a really cool concept that hadn't really been done before, and yeah season one was pretty good, but they let it go to shit. If they could have wrapped things up after 25 episodes it would have been great. There's a reason why no one really talks about the manga now and why I don't hear of people following it

People only got interest in it when a movie came out. I for one have not and will not watch the movie. So ill take your advice and not go looking after the second season i rather not get disappointed. But I liked the first season. Maybe they just got uncreative in the second.

I keep hearing about this show, and everyone keeps telling me it's really good. I'm seeing a lot of AOT crafts on my Crafty Amino so I'm getting curious as to what it is. I might have to check out the plotline and see what it's all about.

I'd definitely watch it if I were you. Easy to watch & get into, not a bad story either.

Only downside is waiting for the second season.

I was never that into it besides the concept. It's a really fucking good idea, but it ruined the execution by immediately making the main character super special and be a titan as well. Way to get rid of all the drama... I wanted to like it, but now it's just one of those gateway anime I hate so much.

I like how everyone in the movie is suddenly fucking japanese though

Really? I think I'll read about it tonight then before I hit the hay. I may have something else to watch when I have nothing better to do, lol.

The first part of Attack On Titan was okay at best, so I never got the hype. The fact that 90% of the second part basically bottles down to; "Humans vs Humans" made it even worse, and they did the Star Wars mistake, it became all about politics and nothing else. The series died quicker than it got hype, and it probably will unless they change the upcoming second season away from the manga.

They should have made this a one season thing. I agree they gave out all the good stuff right away without carrying out the story a bit more. Not mich suspense but it does catch your attention it has potential could be better but its alright.

Protip, they didn't give out much in season one. Part two of the manga was basically just text about politics.
