What is the oldest Sony console or handheld you own?

I don't know about you guys, but I love consoles, and so does my other siblings. We love retro gaming and so we keep older consoles as well as the newer ones that release. We had a PS1, but it's so well packed somewhere I have no idea where it is, lol. Right now we have:

2 PS2's
PS3
PSP
PS1 (Somewhere in our house)

What consoles or handheld Sony products do you have?

I owned all of these before I had to move. 3x Ps1's, 3x PS2's, 1x PSP, 2x PS3, PS Vita.

I now own 1x PS3.

Wow, you had a stockpile of consoles, lol. Why did you have so many of each? I would definitely like to own that many of each in case I play one so much that it dies. That's what happened to one of the PS2's we had. Now we just have the two. One works perfectly, and the other is on it's way to dead town.

I had a lot of consoles due to the fact that I used to be a very social gamer and would have lots of mates around to play games with and what not and it's a bit hard getting like 10+ people to play with only 2 controllers per console.

Sounds like some pretty awesome gaming sessions, and I can see why you would need the extras. 10+ gamers and 2 controllers is definitely a crisis. It's only 3 of us gaming in my house so it really isn't an issue for all of us to play 1 console.

I own a PS1 still as well - though it has not been plugged in for a long time - To my knowledge this is the first sony console.

Of course I also own a PS2 (which was backwards compatiable with 1, which is why I've not plugged 1 in in ages), and a PS3 -- And I really want to get a PS4 soon - hopefully before Persona 5 comes out this summer.

I own a PSP and also the PS TV (which functions as my Vita more or less).

Yay, Playstations rock right! You have a lot of consoles too. Yeah, my PS1 hasn't been plugged in in forever. I don't even know where it is so, lol. I love when a console is backwards compatible. The idea of not having to have like 5 different consoles plugged in and switching between them just to play a specific favorite game is awesome.

I don't prefer it above the Xbox or Nintendo consoles, its just that the PS4 had more interesting exclusives. :hype:

I won the PS4 in a giveaway, but sold it shortly after to help pay for rent because at that time I had just made a car purchase and I didn't end up making enough money at work that month.
Loved my PSP the most. However I am, and always will be a Nintendo fan over a Playstation one.

I still have my old PS2, I've been hanging on to it solely to be able to play Kingdom Hearts. It's barely hanging in there and the controller wires are coming apart, but I love it so much lol. I also have a Vita but if I feel like playing handhelds, I almost always default to my 3ds and cry.

I have a Play Station 1, so I guess that would be it, I lost my Game Boy Color, sadly.

Oldest is a PS1. Don't use it since I have a backwards compatible PS2.
