This seems to be a US-only thing for MicroCenter. if anything like this is happening near you, post it in here to share.
This might have something to do with the fact they sold over x amount of boards since 2012, and it's a special promotion, least that's what the woman at check-out said to me yesterday when I purchased mine.

Remember to get the cheapest USB-OTG to normal USB adapter you can get your hands on to use the thing properly, though, since it doesn't have networking or WiFi on-board. Still, for US$1, you can't go wrong for some cheap fun.

10+ in stock at the location near me. Unfortunately I have no way of getting there till Monday. Ugh, hopefully there might be a few left come Monday that I can pick up. I'd love to mess around with one.

The white stuff is this silicone caulk-stick stuff I have in my cabinet, it's supposed to be for hot-glue-gun use for caulking, so I just refer to it as "white hot-snot" so no one misunderstands me when I tell them what it is. Melted with a lighter, it looks nasty, but if I had a proper gun to use the stuff in, I'm sure it'd look a bit neater.

I'm planning on going and getting another either today or sometime during the week, all things going to plan, that is.

Glue guns are about £5 here, for the really cheap ones. Not sure if the caulk sticks are the right size for the cheap ones but it's worth a try for so cheap. Even if they don't fit a glue gun is pretty damn useful.

They were already out of stock at the Micro Center in my area by the time I got there, contrary to what the store said online. Even now it still says that the Zero is in stock. Oh well, I guess.
