Your experience with real life weeaboos?

I know we're all massive loser weebs here, but, I was just curious if you guys have any interesting experience with people who take liking Anime a bit too far IRL.

I'll start. I've got like 2.

There's one girl in my school, who likes VERY underdeveloped (like, I feel she might have a condition or something, she's like 4' 6" and looks like a grade schooler), who runs around with those cat ear headphones, acting like a cat randomly. Random hisses, shit like that.

Secondly; our school has an anime club. As you could guess, that's pretty cringeworthy. Well, they hosted some cosplay thing one day, and I ended up seeing a good few people walking around school in costume. Well, that was all fine and dandy, except one girl dressed up like Celstia from Danganropa, and continued to wear some form of victorian-era gothic lolita outfit for the rest of the year. Other than that quirk, the girl was pretty awesome, but yeah.

Any experiences like mine?

Not gonna lie: She sounds like one of the coolest people I'll never meet.

Anyways, I like the idea of this thread a lot, mostly 'cuz I've come to know an absurd amount of weebs ever since I shipped up to university. (Going to a tech school will do that to you.) They're all varying degrees of tactless; mostly in an entertaining manner, though a few are truly infuriating to even spend time around.

It's weird man. Never had an issue 'till I moved down south. Never thought I'd say this, but for some reason, black-populated highschools are FULL of anime fans. Basically every white kid there is a nerd.

Childhood friend of mine was seriously into anime. She knew the words to her favorite openings, and if she didn't she'd make damn sure she knew more the next time we spoke. She'd wear anime memoribilia and what not. Cat ears and pretend to be cat at times, just quicky things really. I wasn't really into anime at the time so for the most part I thought she was kinda weird, now that I am into anime more I kinda wish she was around. Would be cool to have a buddy to watch anime with.

Anime club at my campus is full of weirdos. Like the game room we have to chill out in has some people in there, but they're tame and much more enjoyable to be around. The club owner had to be like 35, wore cat-ears and had a racoon tail clip behind him. Another person had a dakimakura with them. I'm into anime, but goddamn did I kinda go "oh shit" when I walked into the room. I ended up getting the fuck outta there and hanging with the narutards in the game room, some of which have become good friends of mine.

We had this "Culture Week" on school. While it was fun in theory, the actual thing was a whole mess. I remember cosplaying a lot back then in high school and i eventually had an excellent excuse to bring one of my costumes to school for a week, since last years host everything, i decided to cosplay different things each day. I did Ragna the Bloodedge, Gakupo Kamui among others.
Long story short, i got invited to anime club and i met a first-year girl, by far the most annoying person i've ever met. Wherever i was, she was there.
I graduated, she confessed, i rejected her and when i went ronin, she still managed to catch up with my crew and shit, it didn't stop until i got my first gf which was a bitch about almost everything, including her. I don't know about her since today.
Also, college has this anime roleplaying club but i don't want to either enter or get aquainted with the people in it.

I don't know a single one, well, unless they're quiet about it. I know people who like anime, but none that I would consider actual weeaboos.

I had more than a few run-ins with this kind of person back when I was regularly attending a late-night anime club as a teenager. But none disturbed me as much as this one girl that walked around with a hand puppet of a fox constantly--and when I say constantly, I mean I literally never saw her right hand come out of it. She spoke obnoxiously loudly, used it to lip-sync almost everything she said, invaded people's personal space with it, and even had conversations with the thing (whilst everyone else was around to talk to). If anyone insisted she cut it out, she would get incredibly offended and shun them.

I'm left kind of in shock remembering it, wondering just how a person even becomes that way.

Long story short: Neglectful parenting.

I knew a girl like that once. I couldn't figure it out at the time since I was just a highschooler and had some serious issues myself, but she was obviously mentally ill: She was morbidly obese, with arms as big as deli hams; she never bathed, and emanated a powerful stench wherever she went; her hair was at one point filled with lice; and to top it all off, she wore a furry tail, in public, in class, without the slightest hint of embarrassment.

I was actually really nice to her. But for whatever reason, the anime club (including my girlfriend) absolutely REVILED her. Now, keep in mind that a lot of these guys weren't one to talk, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms.

She's about nineteen now; saw her at a diner with a few friends. She's still massively overweight and doesn't bathe for days, but at least she's thought better of that tail I'd mentioned. I don't say this often, but she really needs some professional help.

All the people at my school that were into anime, I recall, were super casual, except myself and someone I got into anime.

That was a mistake.

He was a super cool dude, tall, black, a metalhead, had a really cute asian girlfriend, and was the only person I ever really talked about anime to. Nearer the end of our last year though he started getting defensive over his taste in anime as well as acting super weirdly, overreacting and being obnoxiously loud and acting things out (I mean he did drama sure but still).

He broke up with his girlfriend in the last month of school over it, stopped hanging in his normal friend circles, and I haven't seen him since.

I was reading Death Note in class and a kid in a trench coat and a tail came into class and yelled "DEATH NOTE!!!!!!" so I just put it away and never read manga in school again.

I don't really talk shit about my family and stuff but i have this realtive who made me explode a day ago. And i'm not the kind of guy who explodes.

She despises everyone in my family because of her being an otaku and stuff, but here's the thing, she's living in a cabin on our grandfather's huge yard, leeching on his power supply and water services. She's a "Anime Fashion Designer", and by that i mean an almost 40-yo woman who can't get a job (because her last one, years ago, gave her PTSD), spends all her welfare money on fabric for making cosplay suits and stuff. Everyone was giving her money for covering her expenses and stuff tho.
She started grinding my gears when she started hanging with my crew and making drama. Imagine a bunch of dudes who aren't exactily Leo DiCaprio, they aren't ugly but they're too socially ankward to talk to girls. Point is that she started to swing her tail around my dudes and fight ensued, only to come out and say she was a lesbian... Only to make more drama and try to shag this really effeminate chum o' mine. Her parents still spoil her and stuff and when they told her that her funds will be cut, she moved with my grandparents.
I lashed at her when the whole family sat her down and started talking on how she needs to take care of her life, she made a tantrum and asked if she can move with me. I told her that i wasn't gonna accept a dumb, sexually confused, drama-loving childwoman who can't even keep her desk clean.
She locked herself inside of her cabin and hasn't came out since yesterday. My grandfather thought of cutting the power supply but that would mean her coming out to charge her phone and laptop.
