My Introduction! Wunderbar!

Hey there, I am here! My name is of no import, but you may call me Like~

I've been binging on Anime and Manga since my A-levels, 2012; aside from that I enjoy diverse literarture, mostly fantasy, science fantasy and science fiction though! (Favourite genre: Dying Earth Fiction)
From time to time I challenge myself by learning new languages - only romanic and germanic ones this far^^

I have poor motor skills while being very sportive, so I run most of the time and bike the rest of it. The latter leads to injury more frequently than I like, just two weeks ago I had a pretty bad fall while biking and still can't do any sports...So I'm rather stir-crazy right now. (To help that I go on walks with Pokemon Go, for nostalgia's sake)

Other than that, you might sometimes notice my wording being off - English is only my second language, albeit I think I'm doing well enough - or me being snooty when I don't intend it. (Comes with having German as native tongue; I'm not German)

Hm...the games I enjoyed most, recently, are Pillars of Eternity, Harvey's new Eyes, Mechwarrior online (the grind drove me away), Baldur's Gate 2 (replayed that one), Bloodborne and the Souls Franchise in general (Demon's Souls still is my favourite)

Yellow! I wanted to go for blue, but then the intro said something like "The wisdom of Pokemon is immeasurably deep" - So now I'm stuck with those intuition freaks.
There isn't much going on in my village though, so I play a bit while ambling the farm lanes and paths around, there's no community to speak of. (I'm happy about the placement of the 3 Pokestops and single Arena - all within 300m of my home)

Valor here myself. Glad to hear you got a few pokestops and a gym near by. I've got two pokestops and a gym at either end of my neighborhood, go down into the city and its filled with em xD

Really depends on the person; I guess it's a bit easier for german-native speakers to learn english, it being a germanic language after all.

I've learned most of my English reading and surfing the internet, so I'm quite comfortable writing ~ My pronunciation could use some work though.

I wouldn't have ever thought you weren't a native English speaker if you hadn't pointed it out. For a second language you have a pretty good grasp on it. Hope you do well here!

Thanks for all the heart-warming salutes! Somehow or other I was even taken for a brit at the very end, that's good.

Reminds me of last summer when my accent was deemed british by a swedish MILF IRL.
