Tell me about it. Back when I used to visit my uni's Anime Club, all they'd do was watch an OVA and riff on it with JoJo references. Like, I get that it's a great series and all, but come on.
Went to my college's anime club. two people showed up with dakimakuras of their waifus, one dude had a tail and ears, and one kid was wearing a fedora. when they noticed me I simply asked if they could direct me to the bathroom so i could nope the fuck out of there.
been going a few semesters now everyone who watches anime and isn't like them hangs out in the game room. according to a buddy of mine who stuck it out and went a few times to the anime club they're pretty weird folk.
