U.K. fake news but in a meme-ish way, checked it anyway, not worth my time.
A new avatar generation site can make more accurate depictions of waifus than makegirls.moe is now here. A site acts like a convenient digital vending machine to generate exactly the girl you want, and even one like it exists in real life! It even goes two steps further, the first sub-step of the fourth step adds in a Japanese name that you can embed into your email (if you have one) so it won't be discarded, you don't have to do it as an option. The second sub-step of the fourth step if you want to snuggle with your new custom girl in bed, in slumber parties or use it for your postal stamp, you have to pay up in real money (only ships in U.S., Canadian, and Japanese addresses) if that’s the case. Otherwise, you can freely download finished images you made to your own computer without penalty. Even as technology in GAN has upped a notch, it still deals the problem with not including the option to generate husbandos unlike makegirls.moe save for the rare chance of generating traps.
Upon clicking Meet your Dream Waifu button for only the first time, it gives you a 4-step user-friendly tutorial on how the new process will work, and if you are still in the process of making one, it remembers your current work upon revisiting it unless you cleared your cache or restarted. For each refresh while still on the site, it dynamically generate up to 16 girls, you are training the site's AI by choosing the character that was already generated to give them color parameters (it may not be always what you want), fine-tune it with a variety of appearance options, and polish it up with a pose of your choice. Choosing poses also affects their outfit wearing style and personality too, as they are randomized. Even with this upgrade, you can still end up with flaws where some generated characters in the grid act strange, messed up clothing/accessories, wrong skin tone, twisted hair, or their cup size falling out of proportion, but it is getting there. Two new buttons allow users to go back a step or even restart at any stage of creation.
The three big annoyances you have to deal with is the intro (unless you like to make your eyes dizzy from staring at the endless scrolling of random waifus), the second is that after you make your final choices is that the site puts a watermark on the lower left corner of every avatar you make that you will have to crop it. There is also no penalty for removing the watermark through manual cropping because you made and downloaded the images solely by yourself. Lastly, avatar sizes tend to be double than the 200x200 maximum if you want to resize it down to fit better with your new profile pic. I will definitely going to use this over makegirls.moe by ditching it, and it is worth checking it out. 🙂
