How do you watch/get a hold of your anime?

Do you use streaming sites such as Crunchyroll, KissAnime, or AnimeHaven? Or perhaps you torrent your anime for your offline viewing pleasure through sites like Nyaa, BakaBT, AnimeBytes, HorribleSubs, or AnimeTorrents, etc? I'd love to know and this thread would also be great for people unknowing of really good, but obscure sites.

Personally, I use AnimeBytes. They're hands down the best tracker around for anime. They also have just as big of a collection for Anime/Japanese music and Manga. I could go on and on about how great they are, but they are an invite only tracker. Meaning you have to apply and hope you're accepted. However, applications are closed as of right now due to the sheer volume of apps they get. So you can only join right now if you are invited by a user.

P.S - I don't have any invites right now, but if you're not a member and you're interested just message me and I'll see what I can do.

I mostly stream, but back before I learned about KissAnime I'd rely on torrents. Said torrents were usually the full .iso files of the NTSC release, so it was nice to have a dub and the DVD extras.

Mostly from Nyaa or BakaBT. If I can't find what I want there, I turn to XDCC. Would love to actually buy BDs, but jesus they're expensive.

I normally just stream my anime through sites like Crunchyroll, KissAnime and HorribleSubs since I'm too lazy to download any torrents I've considered looking into them though and I may download a few if it proves easy enough.

You're typically not allowed to offer invites in a publicly-accessible location.

I use HorribleSubs for very recently released stuff but KissAnime for virtually everything else.

Hmm I buy anime bds for like good anime, but I usually just torrent it from nyaa. It's soo much nicer to watch with mpv, than streaming. Can create high quality webm shitpost with just two keyboard presses. I do use bakabt from time to time to download nice dvd releases and old stuff and sometimes animebytes, but idk their ratio rules really seem to prevent seeders from the stuff I'm interested in, so I really couldn't care much, as I can usually get rare stuff per xdcc or ask someone to mega it me. On my phone I use my CR subscription. From time to time i do check streaming sites though: https://twist.moe looks really nice and it's cool how some streaming sites automatically mark watched episodes. I guess I should setup something up that updates my mal automatically.

I don't watch much of anything, but as for anime, when I do, I download it from IRC bots.

For me if it's an anime that I'll enjoy rewatching, I would ususally go to Animetorrents and seed for some time. Otherwise if's currently airing, I would then go to Kissanime. I like there bookmarking system they have. And if it's one that I'll enjoy I wait for a batch to be released on animetorrents or make on my self.

I do have a whitelist AnimeBytes account, but sadly I can't use it currently. Where I live, we ONLY have ISP's with data usage plans, so I can't afford to torrent all of that HD goodness. Hopefully when I move, I can get Comcast and a media server for my house. We'll see.
Until then, KissAnime, Netflix, Hulu and MoeTube it is for me.

If you can stream, you can torrent at lower quality. That's not an argument against streaming but i'm not quite sure why a data cap limits torrenting any more then streaming.

I stream it on my phone. I've got unlimited mobile data, so it isn't an issue. I guess I could torrent it to my phone and send it to my PC, but at that point it's not worth it.

Me, I'm actually partial to the Asian DVD Club. Mostly 'cuz I got a kickass ratio on there, but also 'cause I like to watch the extras bundled with the official NTSC releases.

I use nyaa over AB because Canada has a boner for capped bandwidth so I can't always seed at a decent ratio. As for torrenting over streaming, I like having access to it offline and if I decide to rewatch it I don't waste any bandwidth.
