Every major social institution the US seems to be a scam. From college to the Army.

What bothers me is that a large contingent of vets end up as far-right corporatist nutjobs who fly Gadsden Flags and own hella guns. Part of me wants to write these people off as having never seen a day of actual combat in their tour of duty, but the Dems sure haven't helped, what with their demonification of veterans, guns, and their neoliberal economics.
