Oh, I decided the perfect time to test this feature was in a hotel room with someone else trying to sleep so I didn't try anything more than turning it off once I heard noises.

It doesn't matter if you went 5 years to college, got a degree in audio engineering and have worked on several music projects as a composer, arranger, performer, producer, etc. You'll ALWAYS know less than a Metallica fan just because the fact that to them, Metallica is the best thing that happened to music.
