So my accent has been a curse more than anything. When people hear my Italian accent or see my German last name. They assume I speak no English even though living here for 23 years. Get all medical stuff and mail in Italian lel or they speak to me in basic english which is nice in it's own

I'm still finishing my room after both of us were in a rough state earlier this summer. I've found a good way to get motivated was to not aim for looking like a blank canvas, but to buy the decorations and furniture I'd want to place when I'm done. Me, I got a few Vocaloid posters off Etsy and framed'em. That place is a goldmine.

Amazingly, I saw a group of trick-or-treaters! Probably some family friends or the like, about six or eight and two adults, walking near dusk in simple costumes. Charmingly, I also saw some of the staff at my local drugstore getting in on the action, with one of them just coming in wearing a black cloak and carrying some sorta hat under her arm.

Ahhh, if only I wasn't allergic to so many things! I woulda ate a king's ransom worth of chocolate tonight... Honestly though, I've been thinking that the whole "exchanging candy" part would be perfectly compatible with COVID. Just spray the impenetrable plastic wrapper with 91% Isopropanol, and you'd be fine... =w="
