I don't really think that's too surprising. Companies are always slow to upgrade. For example, both places I've worked at still use SVN for version control (I'm definitely pestering my manager to move to git).
Not to mention that the release of vista probably left a sour taste in many mouthes, making people hesitant to upgrade again.

Cryin' shame, too. I've recently developed an appreciation for 2000's computing aesthetics, and that Aero interface holds up pretty well. ^_^

I can back it up with a little meme lesson for more than two-thirds of the world still obsessed with old systems.

Old OS's = Convenient Hollywood-style hacking material, since they aren't supported with updates anymore. I'm sorry for all these poor folks, but you're at greatest risk for breaches. 🙁

New OS's such as Windows 10 and above = It only takes a high-level hacker/modder with the right amount of stupidity on hand to make a crack or two to make a successful breach. Luckily, the chances of catching and prevention methods is quite high, but only if it is worth some sacrifices made.

I feel regretful in an unexpected way as one of my unintended bad habits; my writing style no matter how captivating it looks to the viewer seems to invoke a disease myth in which I shall debunk it, particularly for @[deleted]'s sake:

My writing style in no way shall make anyone either sick or feel stressful to a point unable to respond at all for long periods, especially the game-related threads. I'm sorry if I ever made you feel that worse in your life earlier without even knowing it, but it's not entirely my fault every time I have to write something, even if it takes me an hour or so.

Don't let yourself down over complicated policies against your will, the last thing I would do in any job site before I get into big trouble is to consult the manager.

I reached the 1,776th post I made so far, in case the whole world turns completely upside down by nuclear war one day, I too get tired of this manly body and the conditions I have to cope with for years. It is not blech to me, but a nuisance. I want to become the hero turns heroine, strapping in used school clothes, change my old name, do some outdoor exercising and then go back to see my old pals in a post-apocalyptic America (like the Pip Boy/Girl from Fallout).

We all will have to go to war at some point in our lifetimes, which means 1776 will commence again, but not soon from now.
