I now have two fully functional chapters and a working transition into Chapter 3, with the first quarter of it taking place in a highly dangerous swampland as the transition zone before the third Zodiac Girl named Henmi residing in Askeyvania province. The project is coming along smoothly.
Henmi is the only oddball of the 'Zodiac Order' in my opinion because she's carrying twins in her womb, hence the classification of "the bearer of Gemini", but a local law in that province is trying to curtail the overpopulation problem at the expense of having a "childless" region for anyone under thirteen not wanting them to exist. Since Henmi's twin newborns are considered under thirteen, the mayor's guards will eliminate her carrying the twins within his jurisdiction unless the bill doesn't get to him somehow. So I put the main protagonist and the party (if any) on a two-way quest chain, to help her gather enough support to stop a corrupt mayor from enacting it or help her escape with the twins intact to neighboring Vushana which is south, due to the fact she can't fend off while pregnant. As with Liang, she cannot be romanced because it would put a strain on her body and the twins' future growth.
