Hip-hop, just cause it's so diverse. You've got stuff like Young Thug to stuff like Nujabes.
Progressive metal, I just find it really good and the only thing that I was able to listen too for a long time
currently mostly metal and rock, used to listen to a lot of punk and stuff though
the ones i can think of are alternative and indie
Sycura wroteClassic , as in that type of classic and the new defined classic(s);

Your taste is good, you know (:3) I'm also like classic.
Everything from house to chillstep to electro-swing. Good electronica is the sound of my soul.
Alternative indie & Classic rock are always a good listen for me, but classic music once in a whole grinds my gears as well.
underground rap. mainstream future/kendrick/schoolboyq/A$AP rap. really bumpin Atlas rn from soundcloud.
Metal. But, I listen to just about anything really.

Y'know, I've always heard that people who listen to metal are supposedly super-chill and easygoing, while people who listen to electronica are more sprightly and chipper. Would you say that's true?
That would be Hiphop music I guess.
I don't really mind genres in general but I listen to and appreciate HipHop the most.
Anything goes, i can't really pick one. But i'm keen on the 80's pop and some synhwave right now.

For the most part I feel that is true. I'm, for the most part, chill and easygoing and many of the people I've come across who listen to metal are also pretty easygoing individuals themselves. Where as people I know who avidly listen to electronica are seemingly more outgoing socially, and seem to have more energy about them.
I personally listen to Metal and Electronica at probably equal frequency. I do feel more attentive and lively when listening to Electronica, and more mellow when listening to Metal bands. On a side note I concentrate better when listening to classical/piano.

Well, I suppose I try to be as chilled out as I can. I wasn't exactly raised in what one would call a chilled out environment though, so I often end up fighting with my personality - but yeah, I suppose metal can be rather calming in an odd sort of way.

I like Hip-Hop because of this ^ and because of how much story telling is involved. Especially when it comes to conceptual albums. Songs also have so much lyrical content that you can listen to them over and over and find new things\meanings that you didn't notice before.
I've been getting into R&B lately, the feeling one gets while listening The Weeknd is almost uncomparable.

It lets you let your rage out, so you won't have any left :3
