You bet I keep up with the CWC docus. I'm really fascinated especially by the earlier life bits so I've re-watched those a few times. "Plautistic. A plant that's autistic" is one of the earliest OC cwc pokemon cards and it legitimately puts a smile on my face every single time.
Same, I like rewatching the earlier years and Plautistic slays me every time. I don't think I've been hit harder by anything yet than the story of Bob's Dream Workshop. Like, fuck, that really hurt to hear.

I can't help but feel sorry for the poor guy, ya know? I feel he coulda turned out a lot better if he had better parents, but it is what it is.
Barb really is the worst. Even though it says a lot about Bob that he even tolerated Barb's behavior I still think Chris would be significantly better off than he is now if Barb hadn't been involved with his upbringing. It's not a coincidence that he really went off the deep end after Bob died.
Yeah the Dream Workshop man. It makes me think a lot about what could have been in a different world sometimes. And yeah Barb was/is probably the worst of her two parents. Bob's other kids seemingly turned out alright all things considered but Barb was involved in raising Chris and wasn't good to Cole Smithey at all either. Cole's emails with Chris among other posts he's made show that he and Barb really failed to get along due mostly to how she is.
Most people are content to gawk and move on with their lives, but it really is morbid what circumstances Chris finds herself in. Trapped with a decaying, mentally-ill mother all his life, no education, no job experience, hell, not even an unbiased picture of the real world thanks to her autism. It's true, she's done some incredibly stupid things, but I can't help but see shades of her mother in how she reacts to criticism. I really don't want CWC's last days to be a series of vlogs showcasing her failing health... ;~;
As an aside, you're the first person I've seen use her preferred pronouns. I'm not sure why I didn't before, but I will now. v_v
