Must've been a pretty swood video.
It was in the Music category, I had downloaded the song like 2 minutes after it was uploaded to SoundCloud, put in it Premiere and attached an image to the video, uploaded then monetized.

Yet other people have had their channels taken down despite actually adhering to fair use...
That's sick asf bro. I made over $100k a few days ago from just saving and selling. 😛
I know this trick which the millionaires don't want you to know.
I'm jealous :3
that's $2k that the content creator could've had :c
Hey @[deleted] I suggest you take the high-road here and give it to the guy who uploaded the song. I'm sure he'll really appreciate it and omg youtube is broken.
Using ContentID this would be easily prevented by the creator.

Yeah, it's a pretty popular artist I would say. I have a copyright claim on one of my videos where the artist's main channel only has a few hundred subscribers.

You know most artists make jack shit even if they're "pretty popular" right? Only the biggest artists out there earn enough to make a good buck out of this, even a band like Lamb of God (who had a #2 charting album this year) still struggle to make rounds even though they're playing large venues all over the world.

The artist's name is Travis Scott
I love how everyone is talking about fair use and the moral implications of this stuff, then Cloudy wanders in as always to talk about how much money they have.

What's the point of you going on me. ;( I shared my earnings just like OP did. If you'd like proof like him I am glad to show it. 🙂 Just don't be jelly.
