You might be having DNS issues, I have been able to connect without a Tor/VPN all day.
Today everything is working again,but yesterday i always had the problem that my connection would time out everytime i tried to connect. Now everything is working again.

I'm guessing that the theme change and moving to a different PHP compiler may have been behind some of that.
Both of your avatars (Lambda & Malmon) have the same expression, heh.
It would have been something to do with Lewd moving servers, the DNS for the old server may have been cached, and the old server died yesterday because I stopped paying for it.
