Anyone got some good tunes for writing code? I'm looking for something subdued to help me concentrate.

My current mainstays are some tracks from Analogue: A Hate Story, but the one I've embedded below is my favorite.

It's got a certain quality to it; otherworldly, almost ethereal. Listening to it while programming seems to transport me to a place of utmost solitude, which is the perfect environment for mentally manipulating complex ideas. Only problem is that it's way too short.

Some songs with a similar effect:
Prologue
Hyun-Ae (Cheer)
Mute (Mischief)

And then you explode the mugunghwa.

this is a massive list and you may not like all of it!

on the upbeat side.

progressive house was one of my big genres for a while (now it's deep house), here's some of that:
Nameless Warning - Dashie VIP. brony song. actually no content in it that pertains to equines except for the title and images. Nameless Warning makes gr8 content imo.
deadmau5 & Kaskade - I Remember. one of my favorite songs by the mau5. there's also an instrumental mix. shit quality on the vid.
Benny Benassi - Come Fly Away (Adam K & Soha Remix). if you like this czech out some of their other remixes, like this one (Kaskade - 4 AM (Adam K & Soha Remix)).
i have quite a few more calm progressive house songs that I could list, just lmk if you'd like me to.

few deep house:
HNNY - Brasilian Sound
HNNY - Most Really Pretty Girls Have Pretty Ugly Feet 10/10 title for a 10/10 song.
Junyamabe - Slowslowdown i totally didn't just upload that for the purpose of this list, no that's ridiculous.

downtempo electronic (idk how else to categorize it, sorry):
Phaeleh - Afterglow (feat. Soundmouse) calm as FUCK. careful, you might fall asleep.
Tycho - Dive, Tycho - A Walk, and Tycho - Hours off the album "Dive." all super calm and really good.
Topaz - Half Awake pt 2

vaporwave:
Real Slow - 1990 only song/album even remotely considered vaporwave that I could ever enjoy. if you like this track, listen to the rest of the album "things that remind me of you"

indie shit idk what the fuck this is:
Crystal Castles - Vanished
Crystal Castles - Untrust Us
Crystal Castles - Magic Spells

obligatory daft punk:
Fresh

if you like any of this, let me know and I'll see if I can put together a better list for you. (applies to anyone reading!)

I listen to this album with any sort of work, but especially programming and mathematics.

Usually lyrics tend to sidetrack my train of thought, but for some reason this song's the exception. In fact, it's easily one of the most beautiful tunes I've ever heard.
Yaay, necromancy! Still, I figure it's worth it seein' as I'm gonna be hangin' around here more often. :3
