Tor and privacy on the internet

Anyone here use Tor?
I've been using it to browse general stuff and it's been pretty nice. For shadier stuff I can't say yet as I have yet to partake in any of it. I do love the fact that Tor is free as in freedom.
What are your thoughts on Tor and privacy, lewd?

I don't use Tor. It's slow, and I don't trust the exit nodes - i2p looks more promising in my opinion. I do use a VPN though.

I use tor and i2p often. There are some forums in the deepweb that I partake in advanced discussions with, hence me developing the script I mentioned in my intro.

It's definitely useful, but only if you use it correctly. And it isn't really meant for things that require speed (downloads, videos etc.)

I use I2P and Tor pretty frequently. Tor especially because my university blocks loads of things and tracks users like the NSA. It takes a bit of effort to remember not to mix pseudonymous and anonymous activity, but it's very much worth it. I also run IPFS nodes and a node on hyperboria.

Yeahh I think that it's dead, funny thing is a couple of other places died last year which were pretty active, could be another fbi raid on Tor.
