Currently reading Kurozakuro.
Maybe it's the second time I read that since I was a child.

Joshi Kausei, Boku wa Mari no Naka, Nijigahara Holograph, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Yuki ni Tsubasa, Imawa no Kuni no Alice, Koufuku Graffiti, Hadashi no Gen,... and many more..

Basically I often read random manga.

Reading Akira cuz the movie left so many questions and Beserk cuz the anime story got cut off like 20 years ago

I've been reading JoJo Part 5 but I am stuck with the shitty scans 🙁

I powered through the second half of the Akira manga yesterday after reading the first half some months ago and completely forgetting about it till recently. Story was a bit lacking but I thought the amazing artwork more than made up for it. Ending was quite a let down, though.

I'm trying to get into the mood for Halloween.

Reading a ton of horror stuff and I just started reading 'I Am a Hero'.

I'm really enjoying it so far.

I'm thinkin' about reading a good ecchi manga, but nothing I've has a decent plot to go with the "plot".

I don't necessarily need something serious like Freezing or MuvLuv, but the least one could do is be funny. Some, such as the awful Blade Play, simply fall flat in that regard; but others, like Monster Musume, barely even try to entertain the reader past the fanservice. Assuming you're not flipping pages with one hand, it's an absolutely atrocious read.

Just finished watching Noragami Aragoto, and I definitely feel the need to pick up the manga and continue the story. I felt the same way after finishing Noragami. I thirst for answers!

I don't really read Manga. I just watch the anime cause it's easier.

I'm keeping up with The Gamer (sadly) and Tokyo Ghoul:re every week with a bunch of other ones trailing behind. The Gamer was pretty good early on but it's gotten boring and stale, on the other hand, Tokyo Ghoul has been keeping me interested every week for months. I've been trying to find other interesting weeklies to keep up with but I just keep getting stuck in the hell that is monthly releases.

I'm only still reading The Gamer because I am still hopeful that the author will get back to the action and reveal more systems, The Gamer fanfiction is where it's at, really.

The lack of people not reading Hinamatsuri is disturbing.
It's one of the best comedy mangos out there, and has solid characters that develop throughout the series. Sure the artwork may not be the best (sadly it's not endearingly bad like ONE's art), but the writing more than makes up for it.
Hell, I'm willing to say that the comedy is better than Cromartie High and Daily Lives of High School Boys. Where else will you find scenes where a daughter convinces her "adopted" yakuza father to take her to a cabaret club?

Image no longer available

Or find a manga where its comedy comes from watching characters waste away from hunger, seeing the MC almost getting killed by his fellow yakuza, etc.?

Tl;dr Hinamtsuri needs more love

Only problem is that between Norway and the new scanlator this series doesn't get enough updates.

I actually finished the whole thing in one sitting this one time. It took about six hours, but it was easily one of the highlights of my summer, not to mention a damn fine read.

Yuretsuzukeru aka Keep On Vibrating by Jiro Matsumoto.

Really strange stuff, but facsinating in its grotesquerie. Stuff like this is just up my alley because compared to anime it shows how much freedom doujin manga artists can have to make really strange, dark stories.

I am reading No game no life on my phone since I got lucky and bought volume one got volume 2 for free from amazon plus won a gift card from my local library and bought up to the current I was reading haruhi, haruhi-chan and yuki-chan but I put it on pause for no game no life and I got so burn out from reading all of them (I read up to vol 15, 6 and 5 I need to buy the rest) and lastly I have one called My Dearest Devil Princess I bought for a buck that I want to read and see if it any good =3

I've gotten into a few series over the past couple weeks.

First one is called Dr. Stone, which was recommended to me by BestGuyEver. It's about a small group of people working to revive civilization after all of humanity was petrified in stone two millennia ago. The characters themselves aren't exactly much more than a single quirk, this being a shounen after all, but the plot and art are good enough that it's never been a boring read for me. Not yet, anyway. Also, new volume every Wednesday.

Second one is a shoujo ai story called Yagete Kimi ni Naru. The writing and characterizations are nice but what really keeps me reading is the relationship between the two leads, just because of how odd it is. It's a slow boil, too, which I find comfy.

And lastly I finally decided to pick up Watamote, since I've been meaning to start that for a long time now. Good stuff.

DDT by Suehiro Maruo

The last by him I read was called Gichi Gichi-kun, which was a bit too light and playful for me given his expertise at dark, fucked up, and surreal stories. This one is absolutely his usual.
