Did you lose your faith in any anime which did not live up to your expectation and the hype it created? If yes which one would that be?
Trigun, I heard tons of great things about it and regretfully went into it with high expectations only to be greatly disappointed. It wasn't that good.

Trigun was ok, nothing out of the box but okish ok, the end was not plotted well 🙁
Not really in any, unless well "Problem children are coming from another world, aren't they?" , the ending was just left open.
