Overlord, another anime into the 'stuck in a online game' series (like .hack, SAO and log horizon) and overall I'm enjoying it pretty good. I'm on ep 8 and things are getting pretty good. I mostly love the main character's design.

Has anyone else seen this anime yet?

I read the manga when it was translated, but never thought it would blow up so fast. I think I will give the anime a shot soon 😃
The manga was not to interesting at that time for me but it seems like it has something good 😃

Overlord is based on steam game if i am not wrong? But yea this anime is actually good. Better than SoA II

I glanced at the manga, seems the anime has better pacing. Not really a dull moment.

You should definitely check it out. Has a good story. I didn't read the manga so i don't know but 12 episodes where good wish there was more.

13 episodes actually, and though I hope for more the studio that animated it aren't known for second seasons.

Oh it's on my plan to watch list for a longer while, but since New Years is coming up I am not sure how I will watch that as well in my limited free time 😃

Overlord is actually based off a light novel series. I believe it has 9 series published, but I'm not 100% sure.

It's actually one of my favorites. The story is very interesting and I think I relate to it because I've had a MMO that was dear to my heart shut down by the developer. I can relate to the plight of the main character.

Oh it also has light novels? That's unexpected. I only knew about the manga nad anime so far. Sorry about your MMO, hopefully you remained friends with the people who played with you 😃
