Recently been playing Rising Storm 2, made by the same guys who did Red Orchestra. I gotta say, I'm a lot better at shooter games that rely on tactics and good positioning rather than quick reaction times.
The community is also to die for. Despite the difficulty, people rarely get tilted, but we're always exchanging witty banter and historical in-jokes throughout the match. The game also features a 3D proximity channel to broadcast your voice to everyone nearby, including your enemies; this one time, I got ambushed by an American flamethrower while running through the jungle, only to hear him yell in the distance, "Mm, I love me some fried rice!"
It's currently ten bucks on the Humble Bundle. If you'd like a realistic FPS and have even a passing appreciation for the history, I'd definitely check it out. c:
