Seems more expensive than plusnet for pretty much the same plans. They all use Openreach anyway...
Never used Plusnet, though seeing as they actually have TV ads, I would generally avoid them.
I like Zen, they're reliable and have some dope af customer service. Their more power user friendly setting are quite nice as well - you can set your own reverse domain name, they provide mail, FTP , and a web host as standard. I haven't really tested the last 3 features though, and they did kinda mess up some authentication stuff during the move, which was sorted (except for FTP and web host, since I didn't even notice at the time) after like, 1 min on the phone.
Plusnet are actually really good in my experience. Their customer service seems good, at least the 1 time i've seen it used. I'm pretty sure you can change your reverse DNS too, although you get <username>.plus.com as a default revrse dns which is much nicer than other ISPs. Plusnet offer webhosting and email too, although i really think thats something that should be seperate. Plusnet seem to be very power-user friendly, which I like. They don't inject tracking or ads, and they don't have a NXDOMAIN redirect, and their dns servers seem to obey proper TTL rules and behave like good DNS resolvers. They offer some nice stats on their site too, and are generally quite open, plus their TV ads are awesome.
Overall, i'm impressed by plusnet and they've never let me down, and have retained their "friendly for power users" feel throughout their takeover by BT. They still maintain their USENET servers for fucks sake.
