Okay, so why did I get muted yesterday when I was telling others not to argue? I feel like you can't say shit about anybody or you'll get muted.
I was not a part of an argument that happened yesterday. I was just telling people to calm down then senpai goes and mutes me for no reason? I just want to know why did I get muted? I absolutely did nothing at all? Why do admins just abuse the mute button for no reason? Inb4 this thread gets closed.

Your "stopping the argument" consisted of you circlejerking with Bushi; talking sarcastically about how the staff will mute you for having a say in anything.

If you read the chat correctly I wasn't circle jerking. I was expressing my opinions and it's true. You're abusing the mute button. I don't even know why you muted us to begin with? Me and bushi stopped then you came out of nowhere and muted us?

I know I've got no affiliation with this nor know exactly the details. But, from what I can see, this mute seems somewhat injustified in my opinion.

Yes,me calling Eiki a dick was taking it a little far on my part but other then that I didn't deserve a mute which is true. Senpai just muted me for no reason at all.
Other than calling Eiki a dick there was no reason to mute me.
I was stating the truth that talking about staff/admins will just earn you a mute/ban which is true. Senpai proved my point by muting me lol.

try to avoid saying anything to provoke others. But I can't stand the drama that
unfolds there, the whole reason I even left the forum before was because I was sick
of all the controversy and hateful comments that get thrown around in Discord. I

just chatting together as friends, but I've seen far too many quarrels develop for
me to want to go back in there now.

Those of you who do use the Discord chat, PLEASE think twice before trying to pick

I didn't try to start an arguement nor was I apart of it. I just tried to tell people to calm down and Eiki was acting like a dick so I called him that.

I didn't really mean that directed at you personally, I was just addressing the
forum as a whole for how I feel about chat etiquette. The cycle of fighting always
ends up repeating itself eventually, and it can only be stopped by ourselves as
individuals if we change our habits.

Basically and yeah I know you didn't directly address it towards me.
But yes, I do agree on what you're saying. But these so called "rules" they are enforcing is severely out of hand.

Most fighting/arguing ends up with disagreements in the public chat, which is fine - as long as it's civil. When you start making personal attacks and calling someone out, or purposely try to start a fight, nobody likes to see that in #general (or any public discussion, for that matter) - it makes things awkward for everyone else just wanting to casually talk. I make it a point that when an argument gets out of hand, to either bring it to PM before things get out of hand and have to be moderated.

And for what Bushi replied to the "newbie" - surprise, Eiki's right. If you dislike being in Discord or think you're being "discriminated" against, why be there in the first place? This would have been easier to solve if brought to the attention of staff themselves.

@[deleted], I'm sorry you got muted, and I'm also sorry that you think everyone "circlejerks" with the staff and that you think can't argue with us. We try to do moderate things fairly enough as it is, but the chat is run by you guys, the community. All we do is make sure things are civil.
