I looked back in the previous pages of my join date and didn't see a post from me in here so here's my tale:
I found a group named Lewd.sx on 'trending groups' on hummingbird.me and clicked on it because I am lewd and it piqued my interest. 'Lo and behold I joined.
I like forums. I grew up in them, and I haven't really been able to recapture that experience on image boards like 4chan. Forums are more comfy and have better communities than image boards, but they tend to be awful. Lewd is all the good of 4chan culture with none of the bad.
I found the site through Lain Chan, was an infrequent user of the IRC there, before got merged into LainTV.

Most of the time 4chan is nothing but socially-inept douchebags that get together to be assholes to each other. Once in a great while though, they shit out a nugget of dankness that sends ripples across great swathes of the internet at large. So yeah, 4chan has culture.
Freedom of speech is incredibly important on chan related communities. People who are part of them tend to be accepting of lewdness while also having a deep appreciation for cuteness. You also don't have to worry about offending people or being seen as weird/creepy. Imagine trying to say you're into loli on a 'normal' site and see how long until the mods decide you're a problem, if you're not simply discredited by other users.

I might, but none of my issues should be evident from that post.
Garett posted an invite link into the Tsumino discord, and a bunch of people joined. We were then banned. I thought the community was nice w/ decent discussion so I asked Garett if I could join and I did.
saw an ad on yotsuba lit while browsing /m/.

I really don't know how exactly I found this place. Probably got linked from 8chan or it turned up in a google search for something.
I found this site browsing /c/ on 4chan.
Was looking for a fun community to spend some time at, and got directed to this place by Backlash ^^
I found this wonderful place while browsing Uboachan. It is chan like image board for the fandom of Yume Nikki. I decided on a whim to to click on Lain chan and shortly after I found something....LEWD
I was looking for lewd images... Yeah, that's about it.
