I'm not 100% sure if I can put this here, but I was wondering if there is anyone else using the new Browser Vivaldi? It's currently in beta and I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. I haven't had any real issues using it so far. I do really like how the browser is compatible with Google Chromes extensions. I love to try out new browsers. I'll try it out.

I don't like the look, but otherwise I think it's fine. I'll recommend it to a few friends to find out what they think.

This looks quite rad, I'll give it a whirl.

I love the features that it has, paticuarly the command pallete. I don't think that it's ready to replace Firefox Developer Edition but I will probably give it a whirl again when it's out of beta.

I'm loving it, I have replaced it as my standard browser. I have reverted to my old browser now due to bugs when I have two windows of it open, which due to my set-up including 2 screens isn't very convenient.

This is actually pretty coolio.. I'm using it. Thinking about switching to be honest!

Looks like another proprietary Chromium fork like Opera and it even has the speed dial, not really something I'd concider using.

27848 considering it's compatible with most chromium extensions most if not all adblockers should work

Perhaps not, but take into account the Chrome is made and owned by Google, a multimillion dollar company, that is one of the, if not the, biggest name in the Internet, that ships Google Chrome with Chrome OS, and all Android phones. Even some Linux distributions that are completely separate use it as a main browser.

Personally, if the developer tools are anywhere close to as high tier as Google Chromes, even going as far as allowing the viewing of Websocket frames (unlike some other browsers that shant be named coughFirefoxcough) without the use of a plugin, I will definitely be swapping Google Chrome. I absolutely hate GC.

vivaldi is based on chromium, so anything in chromium should work in vivaldi as well.

There is no guarantee that Vivaldi will respect your privacy. It is closed source and therefore impossible to verify its integrity.
If you want to try a new browser I would recommend IceCat. It is based off of FF, has added privacy features including a cool (but annoying) add-on that turns off all proprietary JS. It's extension marketplace has only GPL compatible projects, which takes out all of the guess work when vetting for privacy.
