uTorrent sucks ass, I've been planning to switch for a long time but never got around to look for better alternatives. Oh and also one of the reasons why I'm still using it is because it's compatible w/ my animu trackers. So what do you gals use?
I can recommend vuze. I use it and I'm very satisfied with it.
I've been using Transmission forever. Don't really have anything bad to say about it.
27682 I did the switch from Utorrent a while ago. I'm now using Qbittorrent for all p2p downloads, I recommend it. It's great.
I can vouch for Qbittorent, it's the best torrent client I've ever used.
I've also been using Qbittorent for a while now, I've never had any problems with it. I'd say that's worth a shot.
I'm also using Qbittorent. I recommend as much as everyone else above me.
Used both Vuze and Qbittorrent. Feel free to use either seeing both are quite good.
Been using deluge on a friends recommendation and its pretty good in my opinion.

qBittorrent is amazing <3
I've had great success with either qBittorrent and Transmission. I prefer qBit but it's personal preference.
I've had this saved for a while, so I don't know if it's still relevant, but here's a helpful graphic. Loading Image
I use rtorrent + tmux on my headless server for everything but qbittorent seems to be the best out of all the drop in solution graphical clients and I have used it once or twice when I used to use windows.
Transmission-gtk. It looks nice. I used qBitTorrent for a long time and really liked.

fuck yeah
I'm using Ktorrent becuase it's default in Kubuntu and really I have no reason to use a different one. It torrents things, doesn't show ads, and isn't malware, what else do you really need?
I recently switched away from uTorrent to Deluge and quite like it so far. It's lightweight, easy to use, FOSS, and runs well on pretty much everything, which is just about all I could ask for in a torrent client.
rTorrent if you have an NAS/homeserver. I love how you can set multiple watch folders. When you combine that with the group functionality you can have watch folders that load torrents and only seed to n:1 while other folders will seed the added torrents to inifity. It's really useful since I use public and private trackers. Transmission is probably the second best client in my opinion, but then again it'd probably get annoying quickly if you had hundreds of torrents seeding forever. It's a nice compliment to rtorrent for downloading locally however.
i personally use deluge
I use transmission with flexget to automatically download my anime. I need to improve my system TBH.
Qbittorent is definitely the best torrent client I've used.
