8 years ago, the very first forum I ever posted on shut down. That forum corrupted me at only 12 years old,but I loved it something dear. Having it shut down on me really hurt, but a replacement was quickly made by other users of the forum. The remake never really caught on, and it maybe saw two posts a month if that. I decided to check in on it recently, only to see it has shut down. The new owner wrote a nice message talking about how everyone has grown up and now have interests elsewhere. Kind of a bittersweet thing, and has me in kind of mood I can only describe as a mixture of sad and happy.
