So, since i think i really start getting on this drawing, i thought why not make my own gallery thread, i'll update my awesome doodles here from time to time

You've drawn Totodile well, and I just love his eyes. Actually makes it seem like they have life in them.

Is that how his tooth has always been? From what I faintly remember, I don't think that's how it is, but its probably just my fault e.e. The left leg seems to be larger than the right leg (kinda looks weird) but overall, its a pretty good drawing. Just some constructive feedback, don't take it badly~~

Do you not like shading? You could try darkening the scales on his back, for example. There's no real need for it, but shading can even make a bad drawing look good if done right. (Not saying your drawing is bad o.o).

Watching you guys doing this regularly makes me want draw regularly too qwq.

Thanks for the feedback mate, i draw from reference pictures and that's how the tooth was on the one i used, and i know the left leg looks weird, for some reason i just couldn't make it more properly 😛

What comes to shading, i haven't done shadings much but i drew Totodile pretty late and was too lazy to start doing the shadings, i bought new colors today (couldn't find old ones) so pretty much going to finish Slugma and Totodile now.

What comes to drawing regularly, it's kinda funny, i never really liked drawing but somehow this forum sparked my interest and motivation towards it (damn you Skar 😛), i find this a great hobby and it's nice way to get better, join the cause mate.

Drawing is pretty fun, yeah, I've experienced that first-hand. Its a great refreshment, so I'll probably join the cause. The only thing that will bother me is probably that I take too long to draw. I try not to miss a single detail and try to draw the drawing perfectly, so its time-consuming even for a hobby.

Derp, I'll still find a way to finish my drawings fast~ Muahah, just wait and I'll storm all the way with my drawings e.e.

Lol, well i don't really try to perfect the drawing, i draw it the way i'm satisfied with it (which really doesn't require lot of details 😛)

Great job, especially with the shadows. I've never been able to do those right with colors which is a primary reason as to why I only draw. The whitish thing on his nose is reflecting light?

Hey, that's pretty darn awesome for your first try-- Rukia, I mean. My first anime character was way worse. You'll need lot of work on the eyes and the neck. That's a huge neck for sure, lol.
The other thing that bothers me is the lack of eyebrows. Now I've never been a big fan of Rukia but she probably does have eye-brows, right? ...Err, I hope so...

You'll just need tons and tons of practice to get the eyes right. It happens to all artists; getting one eye right and unable to get the other look identical to that. The hair is shaded quite awesomely. I love how the light is shown. Did you also use a bit of blue in the hair?

Yeah the whitish thing on Totodiles nose is supposed to be reflecting light.

And thanks for the feedback, i noticed all of those myself too. And i used blue gray on the hair and added thin layer of black. And i agree with the eyes, drawing them really is a pain...
