Alright, so I own a few cars, I recently built an S13 with an LS1 swap, stuck a blower on there (had to do some frame work to get it to fit) and it dynos at 380 with my shitty excuse for a tune. I love the car, but I don't use it as a daily driver,a nd I really wouldn't want to. Not because of the impracticality of it, or the fact that I have sunk more money into it than I really should have, but because, all in all, it is not a very comfortable car. With mods, it goes fast, but it is also noisy. Speaking of noise, the road noise with performance coil-overs is really not all that great either, and you will break your spine over every bump. The seats, if you actually want to use it on the track, will also be uncomfortable. I am rocking some recaro buckets that where modified by some bloke to fit taller people (I am just a tad over 1.9m) They fit me great, but they are not something I would want to ride around in on the way to work. Finally, if you are in a snowy climate like I am, a RWD car is really asking for death. My daily driver is a Subaru Legacy GT, which I hope to swap out for a modern WRX if I can find someone to buy my Miata.
