Ideal:
I'd wake up at 5AM, eat my oats, take care of my bedhead, and go for a run. After that, I'd take a refreshing cold shower, scramble my eggs and cook my zucchini hashbrowns, and while I'm eating those, cook up my lunch and dinner, packing them into tupperware. I'd loiter around the apartment. I'd read, play video games or watch something on TV until I left to go to work. When I got home, I'd eat my dinner and head to the gym, unless it's a rest day. Spend the rest of the evening working on pet projects, learning some new skill, playing with my cats, or cleaning the apartment.
Real:
Wake up roughly one half-hour before my shift starts. Breakfast is toast. Quickly heat up some frozen mixed veggies and open a can of kidney beans into a strainer, rinsing off the gunk. Mix the beans with the veggies and toss it into tupperware. Rush to work, hoping I don't forget anything in the process. After work, skip the gym because I'm tired. Take care of the cats, and then surf random websites until 3am. Go to bed. Lie around for an hour or so, questioning the meaning of my existence. Fall asleep. Repeat.
