Phone Wallpapers [1080x1920]

Not sure if there is a way to embed Imgur Albums, so just linking it. All are 1080x1920, feature a grey area for app icons, solid color border and a header image. I update this every so often when I collect enough wallpapers in my desktop rotation, and the use a select few.

I use these in a rotation I set-up via Tasker, if interested I'll include how to set-up a wallpaper rotation with Tasker below.

No, because the long end is on the right/left sides. It's 1080x1920, not 1920x1080. In other words, 9:16 and not 16:9

No, I get it, I should have been more specific with my question. What I meant was all of these images have the blackened area for apps along the bottom of the images, as opposed to the side. Every single phone or tablet I've seen uses a left-right swipe setup for moving between your home screen and other app pages. So with the way these images are laid out, you'd have to rotate the photo 90 degrees counter-clockwise if you wanted to use it as intended.

Also, all of the images are set up with the widest side along the bottom of the image... Which means even if you did crop the photo to take the blackened section out, (every app page would use the background) your photo would still be able to completely display only if you rotated the image 90 degrees. And then it would be sideways.

That makes a lot more sense actually seeing it in use, I thought loli meant that the top portion was meant to be your entire home page, and the black part was like a panaramic image for all your app pages. But I don't know if I'd use this, you're essentially cutting your app utility in half on any screen that uses this wallpaper. To each his own though.

I think it's an alternative to having the icons covering the entire wallpaper. These give the app icons their own area to not bother the wallpaper.

Alright, so when I made this thread I didn't really anticipate there being confusion on how my set-up is. Below is a screenshot of my homescreen. Naturally my phone is 1440x2560 in resolution, however I use 1080x1920 because its used more widely, and I notice no quality loss when using it with my phone.

Phone: Nexus 6
ROM: Chroma 5.1.1
Launcher: Nova
Status Bar: Hidden. Swipe down to see.
App Drawer Button: Hidden. Swipe up to access apps.
Nav Bar: 20% Smaller - I Think
Icons: Tiny White Pro
Fonts don't show on homescreen, and I'm pretty positive I have a custom font going as well so its smaller. Don't mind the untouched Hearthstone icon.

If you have any questions about my set-up or anything let me know. I hope this sort of explains why I'm able to get away with this style of wallpaper. I have my most used apps on the homescreen, the rest in the app drawer.

Glad you like it, and this is proof that you can use the whole wallpaper if you want. It really is up to whatever you want to do. Most backgrounds I use are minimal.
